This is an Open Roster USA Sanctioned Event. The host site will be the historic and newly renovated Firestone Stadium. A Fully Turfed Two Field Complex with lights, new dugouts, batting cages, and pitching tunnels. We will also use the Softball Complex @ Logan Field as an auxiliary location.
This will be a 5 game minimum with teams playing 4 pool games and then bracketing in to a Single Elimination Championship Round. Pool Games will be 75 min - finish the inning. Pool Games will start on Friday morning at 9am. We are offering the "Odd Year" age groups for 15u and 17u and hope to have enough teams to have "Odd Year" Championship Brackets. Your entry fee covers umpire fees and game balls.
This Tournament will be promoted to College Coaches and we expect in person scouting.
We are also planning to have a clinic on Thursday morning / afternoon hosted by former Akron University Head Coach Julie Jones. More details wil be available by March 1, 2024
There will be Team and Individual Awards for 1st and 2nd place for ach age group.
This is a stay to play event if you are traveling over 100 miles. Teams are required to book their hotels through TeamINN.
